Baptism
We celebrate baptisms at Redeemer! It is a special time to publicly profess your faith in Christ or to declare that faith on behalf of your child. Scripture tells us that, “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved” (Mark 16:16). If you are interested in being baptized, having your child baptized, or want to find out more about our baptism class CLICK HERE.
Communion
Experience forgiveness and connect deeply with Jesus Christ through Communion at Redeemer. On the first Sunday of every month both onsite and online we hear the words: “given for you” and “shed for the forgiveness of sins” and know the promise of forgiveness, life, and salvation as we eat the bread and drink the wine of Communion.
Onsite, in this season of physical distancing, we distribute pre-packaged wafers and grape juice, and a gluten-free option is always made available.
At Redeemer, First Communion is offered beginning in 5th grade, and all with a living faith in God through the power of Jesus Christ are welcome.
Confirmation
Jesus wants to engage our heart, head and hands so that we would live a life unashamed of and excited by the gospel. That’s what Confirmation is all about. Youth (in grades 9 and up) who go through Confirmation at Redeemer gain a working understanding of the Bible and Lutheran catechism. If you are interested in Confirmation, please visit the Confirmation page below or contact Pastor Jason DeShaw via email or call (763) 574-7445 , ext 209.
