Confirmation
Jesus wants us to follow in His ways so that we can live a life unashamed of and excited by the gospel. That's what Confirmation is all about.
What is Confirmation?
Preparation to publicly proclaim your faith.
Introduction to core Lutheran Teachings on:
The 10 Commandments
The Lord's Prayer
The Apostles' Creed
Baptism & Communion
Preparation to share the story of your faith.
A connection to community.
What will I do in Confirmation?
Confirmation is a weekly gathering that follows Redeemer’s core values: Invite, Serve, Gather, Connect, and Follow.
Weekly Gatherings
Students will meet on Sunday nights from 5:30pm to 6:15pm. During this time they will learn more and dive into the Bible, grow in community with one another, and learn more about core Lutheran teachings. This gathering will finish just in time for Redeemer Youth!
Camps
Confirmation students will participate in a retreat for high schoolers over the New Year and in the Summer.
Community
Every Sunday students will build community with the Redeemer family as they attend worship and connect with other high school students Sunday nights at Redeemer Youth.
Sermon Notes
Onsite Live: Paper Confirmation Message Notes are available in the commons and should be completed and turned in to the wire basket by the entrance down to the worship center.
